Thigh covers
Thigh covers are designed for transfemoral prostheses, restoring shape and volume of the upper leg while creating a visual connection between the socket and prosthetic knee. They are most often developed as part of a full leg set, paired with a lower above knee cover, but can also be worn on their own.
Each cover is individually shaped in relation to the socket and knee configuration, taking both movement and proportion into account.

Coverage during flexion
If the prosthetic setup allows, thigh covers are designed to overlap the knee joint, closing or reducing the visible gap between socket and knee. This helps maintain a continuous leg shape, even when sitting or bending.
For the most cohesive result, the thigh cover can be developed together with a lower above knee leg cover, as part of a full leg set.
