Last updated: 8 June 2026
These Terms of Service apply to purchases from and use of the website and webshop operated by Anatomic Studios Sweden AB, company registration number 559037-3261 (“Anatomic Studios”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully before completing your purchase.

2. Scope
These Terms apply to all use of our website and webshop at anatomic-studios.com, our app, and any other associated pages or digital tools operated by Anatomic Studios.
The Terms available on the website at the time of your order apply to that order. We may update these Terms from time to time, and the latest version will always be available on our website.
3. Products
Anatomic Studios offers different types of products, including:
- custom-fit and personalized prosthetic covers and products;
- semi-custom products;
- ready-made or non-custom-fit products;
- clothing, accessories and other related products.
Some products are made or adapted specifically for an individual customer. Product images, descriptions and examples shown on the website are intended to illustrate the product, design style, material or function.
Because custom-fit and personalized products are made individually, the final product may vary from images, previews or examples shown on the website.
4. Orders and contract conclusion
You can place an order through our website, webshop, app or by contacting Anatomic Studios directly, where applicable.
When you place an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected product or products. After placing an order, you may receive an automatic confirmation that we have received your order. This confirmation does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
A contract between you and Anatomic Studios is formed when we confirm the order, request payment, start processing or producing the product, or ship the ordered product, whichever occurs first.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order if:
- the product is unavailable;
- there has been an obvious pricing, product information or technical error;
- payment is not completed or cannot be verified;
- we are unable to fulfill the order due to missing or incorrect information;
- the order appears to be fraudulent or unauthorized;
- we are otherwise unable to fulfill the order for legitimate reasons.
If you are under 18 years old, approval from a parent or legal guardian is required before placing an order.
5. Customer information and order accuracy
You are responsible for making sure that the information you provide when placing an order is accurate and complete.
Depending on the product, this may include contact details, shipping address, product selections, measurements, scan data, design preferences and any other information needed to process your order.
For custom-fit and personalized products, incorrect or incomplete information may affect fit, design, production or delivery. If we need additional information from you before we can continue, this may affect the estimated delivery date.
6. Design process and approvals
For custom-fit or personalized products, we may send design drafts, visualizations or other approval material before production.
If design approval is required, production will normally not begin until you have approved the relevant design or production details.
The estimated timeline may be affected by how quickly you respond to requests for information, feedback or design approval.
Once a custom-fit or personalized product has entered production, changes may no longer be possible. If changes are possible, they may result in additional costs, an updated timeline or both.
7. Prices and currencies
Product prices may be displayed in different currencies depending on your location, selected currency or website settings.
Unless otherwise stated, product prices displayed while browsing the website are shown excluding VAT, taxes, shipping costs, customs duties and other local charges.
Applicable VAT or sales tax will be calculated and added at checkout where required, based on the customer type, shipping destination, billing information and applicable tax rules.
The final price, currency, applicable VAT or taxes, shipping cost and any other charges collected by Anatomic Studios will be shown at checkout before you complete your order, or stated in the order confirmation, quote or invoice for orders handled outside the standard webshop checkout.
For custom design orders, the price paid at checkout may represent a startup fee, design deposit or initial order amount.
The final price for a custom design product depends on the complexity of the design, the amount of design work required, selected product options, materials, finishes, revisions or other agreed details. Any additional cost will be communicated to you for approval before the order is completed, invoiced or moved into final production.
For orders shipped outside the EU, local import duties, taxes, customs fees and other charges may apply. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in our product prices, shipping charges or other amounts paid to Anatomic Studios, unless clearly stated otherwise. The customer is responsible for paying any such charges directly to the carrier, customs authority or relevant provider.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing errors and to change prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed, unless there has been an obvious error.
8. Payment
Payment can be made using the payment methods available at checkout or otherwise agreed with Anatomic Studios.
Your order may not be processed, produced or shipped until payment has been completed, unless otherwise agreed.
For some orders, especially custom-fit, personalized, B2B, clinic or invoice-based orders, specific payment terms may be agreed separately.
9. Shipping and delivery
The applicable shipping cost will be shown at checkout before you complete your order, or stated in the order confirmation, quote or invoice for orders handled outside the standard webshop checkout.
Shipping options and delivery costs may vary depending on the destination country, product type and order process.
For made-to-measure and custom-fit products, our standard production lead time usually starts once we have received the core information needed to process your order. This may include measurements, scan data, product selection, design preferences and other product-specific details.
Some information, such as payment details, final design approval or additional clarifications, may be handled later in the process depending on the type of order. If we need additional information from you before we can continue, this may affect the estimated delivery date.
Lead times may vary depending on the current order queue, product type, design complexity, color or material availability, production capacity, shipping destination, and the time it takes to receive required information or approvals from you.
For custom-fit products with a custom design, the delivery time is estimated after the design and production requirements have been clarified and the core information needed to begin the process has been received.
Any delivery times communicated by Anatomic Studios are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. We always do our best to deliver within the estimated timeframe, but delivery times are not guaranteed.
For more information, please see our Shipping Policy.
10. Customs, import duties and local charges
For orders shipped outside the EU, local import duties, taxes, customs fees and other charges may apply.
These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in our product prices or shipping charges, unless clearly stated otherwise at checkout. Such charges are paid by the customer directly to the carrier, customs authority or relevant provider before or upon delivery.
Anatomic Studios does not control these charges and is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, import procedures or the customer’s failure to pay applicable local charges.
11. Right of withdrawal, returns and cancellations
Different return, refund and cancellation rules apply depending on the type of product you have ordered and how far the order has progressed. For more detailed information, please see our Returns & Refund Policy.
Custom-fit and personalized products
Custom-fit, made-to-measure, semi-custom or personalized products are manufactured, adapted, finished or designed according to the customer’s individual specifications.
Because of this, custom-fit, made-to-measure, semi-custom and personalized products cannot normally be returned because of a change of mind once the product has been completed or entered production.
If you wish to cancel a custom-fit or personalized order before the product has entered production, for example while the order is still in the digital design phase, we will review how far the order has progressed. A partial refund may be possible, but we may need to charge for design work, customization, preparation or other order-specific work already carried out.
This applies, for example, to prosthetic covers or other products that are made, adapted, designed, finished, colored, sized or customized specifically for you.
Once a product has entered production or has been completed, cancellation or refund is not possible unless the product is defective or otherwise required by applicable law.
Custom design fees and deposits
For custom design orders, the amount paid at checkout may represent a startup fee, design deposit or initial order amount.
If you cancel a custom design order before the final product has been completed, we may charge for design work, consultation, preparation or other order-specific work already carried out.
If the full startup fee or deposit has not been used at the point of cancellation, a partial refund may be possible. This will be assessed based on the work completed and costs incurred up to that point.
Non-custom products
For non-custom products, such as ready-made products, clothing or accessories that are not personalized or made to your individual specifications, consumers may have a right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable consumer protection law.
If you wish to return a non-custom product, you must notify us within 14 days from the day you received the product.
After notifying us, the product must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you informed us that you wish to return it.
Returned products must be unused, clean, undamaged and returned in their original condition and packaging where possible.
For approved returns based on withdrawal or change of mind, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, unless otherwise stated or required by law.
Once we have received and inspected the returned product, we will let you know whether the return has been approved. If approved, the refund will be issued using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Products that cannot normally be returned
We may refuse a return if the product:
- is custom-fit, made-to-measure, semi-custom or personalized;
- has been used, damaged, altered or is not in original condition;
- cannot be returned for hygiene, safety or product-specific reasons;
- is returned too late;
- is otherwise excluded from return under applicable law.
This does not affect your right to make a complaint if the product is defective, damaged or incorrect.
For valid complaints relating to defective, damaged or incorrect products, Anatomic Studios will cover return shipping costs or provide another suitable solution, depending on the situation.
12. Complaints and defective products
If you believe that a product is defective, damaged during delivery or does not correspond to what was agreed, please contact us as soon as possible at support@anatomic-studios.com.
Please include:
- your name;
- order number or invoice number;
- a description of the issue;
- photos or other documentation showing the issue, where relevant.
If you are a consumer, you have the right to make a complaint about defective products in accordance with mandatory consumer protection law.
For business customers and other non-consumer orders, complaints must be made within one year from the date the product was received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Complaints must always be made within a reasonable time after you noticed or should have noticed the defect.
If we determine that the complaint is valid, we may, depending on the circumstances and applicable law, repair the product, replace the product, provide a price reduction, issue a refund or provide another appropriate remedy.
We are not responsible for defects or damage caused by:
- normal wear and tear;
- incorrect use;
- failure to follow care instructions;
- modifications or repairs made by someone other than Anatomic Studios or a party approved by us;
- accidents, misuse or external damage;
- changes to the prosthesis, socket, components or other external factors that affect product fit or function after delivery.
13. Intended use and product responsibility
Our products must only be used for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions, care guidelines or recommendations provided by Anatomic Studios.
Prosthetic covers and related products are cosmetic, protective or decorative products unless clearly stated otherwise. They are not intended to replace medical, clinical or prosthetic components, and they should not be used in a way that interferes with the safety, fit or function of the prosthesis or orthosis.
If you experience issues related to your prosthesis, orthosis, socket, alignment, comfort, fit or clinical use, you should contact your prosthetist, clinic or relevant healthcare provider.
14. Intellectual property and design ownership
All intellectual property rights in our products, designs, digital files, 3D files, production files, design concepts, patterns, methods, visual materials, images, text, branding and other content created by or for Anatomic Studios remain the property of Anatomic Studios or our licensors, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For custom design orders, customers may provide ideas, references, inspiration, preferences, images or other input as part of the design process. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, such input does not transfer ownership of the final design, design files, 3D files, production files or related intellectual property rights to the customer.
When you purchase a product from Anatomic Studios, you receive ownership of the physical product, but not the underlying design rights, digital files, 3D files, production files or other intellectual property rights connected to the product.
You may use the purchased product for its intended personal or agreed purpose. You may not copy, reproduce, manufacture, modify, distribute, sell, license, reverse engineer or otherwise commercially use our designs, files, products or content without our prior written permission.
15. Customer-provided material
If you provide images, logos, artwork, references, text or other material for a custom order, you confirm that you have the right to use that material and allow us to use it for the purpose of processing and producing your order.
We may refuse to use material that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory, infringing, or otherwise unsuitable for production.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Anatomic Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including but not limited to loss of profit, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of goodwill, loss of data or other similar losses.
Nothing in these Terms limits your mandatory rights as a consumer under applicable law.
17. Privacy and cookies
Anatomic Studios processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation. For more information about how we collect, use and protect personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.
For more information about how we use cookies and similar technologies, please see our Cookie Policy.
18. Errors, availability and website information
We reserve the right to correct errors on the website, including errors in product descriptions, images, technical specifications, prices, stock status, currencies, shipping information or other content.
Product images are for illustration purposes and may not always show the exact appearance, color, finish, size or function of the product. Colors and details may vary depending on screen settings, materials, production methods and individual customization.
We may update, change or remove products, prices, descriptions or other website content at any time.
19. Force majeure
Anatomic Studios is not responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations if this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, terrorism, labor disputes, pandemics, epidemics, quarantine restrictions, government actions, changes in laws or regulations, supplier disruptions, production disruptions, transport delays, customs delays, technical failures or other events outside our reasonable control.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Swedish law.
If you are a consumer resident in another country, you may also benefit from mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws of your country of residence.

If you are a consumer and we are unable to resolve the dispute, you may have the right to refer the matter to a consumer dispute resolution body in your country of residence or to another competent authority.

We follow the recommendations of ARN where applicable.
Disputes may also be settled by a competent court in accordance with applicable law.
