Make sure all prosthetic components are clearly visible - remove shoes, socks and any foam/cosmetic cover before scanning

For BK prosthesis - scan without sleeve

Check scanning result to make sure no larger parts of the prosthesis are missing

Upload scan files in standard formats .STL or .OBJ

TIPS & TRICKS WHEN SCANNING

If details or components aren’t captured by the scanner, we recommend coloring the part of the prosthesis that disappears. A scanning spray usually works fine. To achieve the most accurate cover fit, it is important that the shape of the prosthetic components are visible in the scan.

WHY DO WE NEED A SCAN OF YOUR PROSTHESIS?

We need a scan to enable the best possible fit against the unique shape of your prosthesis. We believe that a good fit to the prosthesis is an important part of the design experience.

HOW CAN I GET MY PROSTHESIS SCANNED?

Many prosthetic clinics offer the opportunity for 3D-scanning. We at Anatomic Studios also provide a great scanning application available for iPhone X-14. You can find the app at AppStore here. (Available for iPhone X, 11-14 and iPad Pro 11, 1-3 gen and iPad Pro 12.9 3-5 gen)

I prefer to submit a scan with the Anatomic Studios 3D scanner app for iPhone/iPad after placing this order
