Custom Design Policy & Guidelines
We believe custom design should feel personal, considered and respectful. While most ideas are possible, there are a few guidelines that shape what we create. Some of these also help protect both our customers and Anatomic Studios by ensuring we respect legal requirements and the rights of others.
We do not create designs that include:
- Logos, trademarks or other protected brand identifiers (such as sports club emblems, car logos or fashion brand symbols) without documented permission from the rights holder
- Copyrighted artwork, illustrations, photographs, patterns or characters without documented permission from the rights holder
- Hate or discriminatory symbols or imagery
- Graphic violence
- Motifs that glorify weapons or armed conflict
- Explicit political messaging
- Drug-related themes
- Explicit or objectifying sexual content
Inspired by something? Let's make it your own.
If you're inspired by a brand, logo, character, artwork or something else that's meaningful to you, we're happy to explore an original design that captures the story, colours or symbolism behind your idea – without reproducing protected elements.
If you submit artwork, images or other material to be included in your design, you must own the necessary rights or have permission from the rights holder for Anatomic Studios to reproduce it on your custom prosthetic cover. If you're using material with permission from the rights holder, we'll ask you to provide documentation confirming this.
We reserve the right to decline or request changes to any design that does not comply with our Custom Design Policy & Guidelines.
If you're unsure about your idea, just reach out – we'll explore the possibilities together.
